윤해승 (b.1996, South Korea)
윤해승은 그녀가 겪거나 상상하던 일상의 모습을 회화를 통해 풀어낸다. 주로 평면에 그림을 그린 후, 윤곽을 따라 잘라내는 방식의 컷아웃 조각 작업을 해오고 있다. 배경이 잘린 평면 조각들은 공간에 따라 다른 배경을 흡수하며 낯선 공간에서 새로운 이야기를 만들어 낸다. 그녀의 컷아웃 이미지들은 하나의 연극 무대처럼 설치되어 감상자가 작품의 바운더리 속에 들어온 것 같은 느낌을 들게 한다.
작가는 익숙하지만 낯선 개개인의 사생활에 관심을 가진다. 본인 또한 다른 이에게는 낯선 이이기에 자신의 사적 기록물인 다큐멘터리 페인팅을 공유하며 타인과 공존하는 세계를 확장하고자 한다.
